| On the Shroud there are signs of wounds that recall those
described by the Gospels on the Passion of Jesus. There are also evident blood stains. There are many wounds on the face, there is a large blood flow on
the right side of the body and the sign of a wound on the left hand (frontal image).
On the back side of the linen there is a noticeable wound
on the right foot, completely visible, while the left one is not visible because the feet
were crossed. There are also signs of blood on the back. |
