What has the Shroud to deal with botany, a science concerning
plants?

Even plants leave important traces. On the Shroud we find
signs of wounds made by thorns, traces of aloe, myrrh and other oils used to preserve
bodies. The cloth contains also many kinds of pollens, typical of the Palestinian region. |
